A lot of people restrict marketing to be sales and at the most advertisements. Management guru Mr. Peter Drucker said, “The aim of the marketing is to make selling necessary”. By this we can very well understand that marketing is not just selling and advertising but includes the two besides a lot of other aspects of marketing. Marketing in reality and in all its totality means to make a person realize what he/she is missing by creating the need of a particular product /services. Then, make that product/service available by catering them to that person and at last, knowing how satisfactory was that product /service when that person consumed it.
Following is the flowchart of the marketing process in a gist:
Create a need in the market > catering the product/service to the market > product/service rating
Hence, Marketing can be defined as the process by which companies engage customers, build strong customer relationships and create customer values.
